ਭਾਈ ਸੂਰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਬੀਬੀ ਸਰਵਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਦੇ ਪਤੀ ਸਤਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੋਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਗੋ ‘ਚ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਚਾਕੂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਕਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ 'ਤੇ ਇਹ ਚਰਚਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ‘ਚ ਭਾਈ ਸੂਰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਮਨਸੂਬੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਸ. ਸਤਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੋਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਤੜ੍ਹਕੇ 1.45 ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਜਦੋਂ ਓਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਾਰ ਪਾਰਕਿੰਗ 'ਚ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਪਾਰਟਮੇੰਟ ਨੂੰ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਹਮਲਾਵਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਘਾਤ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਚਾਕੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਹੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋਈ ਦੱਸੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਬੀਬੀ ਸਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਵੀ 5 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ 'ਚ ਆਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ 'ਚ ਹੀ ਹਨ। ਮੁੱਢਲੀਆਂ ਖਬਰਾਂ 'ਚ ਤਾਂ ਸ. ਸਤਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੋਲਾ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਪੂ ਸੂਰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਪੜਤਾਲ ਕਰਨੀ ਹੈ, ਸੱਚਾਈ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਹੀ ਜਾਣੀ ਹੈ।

ਸ਼ਿਕਾਗੋ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕ ਪਿਓਰੀਆ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ 'ਚ ਰਾਤ ਡੇਢ ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਕਤਲ ਹੋਏ ਬਾਪੂ ਸੂਰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਈ ਸਤਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੋਲਾ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਡਿਟੈਕਟਿਵ ਸਾਰਜੈਂਟ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਹਾਲੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪੋਸਟ ਮਾਰਟਮ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਜਲਦ ਆ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਕਨੂੰਨਨ ਟਾਇਮ ਲਿਮਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।

'ਸਿੱਖ ਕੋਲੀਸ਼ਨ' ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਹਰ ਵਕੀਲ ਰਾਬਤਾ ਬਣਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਵੈਸੇ ਕਤਲ ਚਾਕੂ ਨਾਲ ਗਰਦਨ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਾਰ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਕਤਲ ਲੁੱਟ ਖੋਹ ਦੀ ਵਾਰਦਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਪਦਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜੇਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਈ ਨਕਦੀ ਤੇ ਕਰੈਡਿਟ ਕਾਰਡ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੇੜੇ ਗਏ। ਹੋਰ ਵੇਰਵੇ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਹੈ।

When the Peoria police responded to a call at 12:02 am, Satwinder Singh was found dead in a nearby parking lot. Cause of the murder was likely not related to robbery. Satwinder Singh had over $2,000 and a blank check in his pocket, which were not taken during the incident.

	Mohit Khanna Tribune News Service Ludhiana, August 17 In a major setback to veteran Sikh activist Surat Singh Khalsa, his son- in-law Satwinder Singh Bhola was stabbed to death by an unidentified assailant near his house at Chicago in the United States on Monday. Bhola (65) was attacked at around 1.45am when he was heading to his house after parking his car. Khalsa has been observing fast at Hassanpur village of Ludhiana district, seeking the release of 82 Sikh prisoners lodged in various jails of the country. Sarvarinder Kaur, Bhola’s wife, who was with her father during his protest had returned to the US on August 5.  Khalsa’s son Ravinderpal Singh Goggi said Bhola could have been killed to scuttle the hunger strike of Khalsa that had started on January 16.  He demanded an independent probe by the US government into the matter to find out the truth behind the killing. Meanwhile supporters of Khalsa have blamed Indian agencies behind this act and have alleged that this is an act to force Surat Khalsa to give up his peaceful hunger strike. Sikh organizations have been circulating the message through social media along with pictures of Bhola. Meanwhile, situation has become tense at Hassanpur village. Tight security arrangements have been made by the authorities to tackle any eventuality.
