Know your rights for US Election Day Nov 6th

Protect your rights when you go to vote on Election Day.  

Learn more about your rights as a voter in English and in Punjabi.

You have the right to:

  • Receive language assistance, and bring your own interpreter if needed

  • Vote by provisional ballot, if your name is missing from registration lists or you did not bring identification

  • Remember: You are not required to show proof of citizenship to vote

  • Photo ID may be required for voters in certain states, and for most first time voters

Print and share handouts in English and Punjabi with your sangat and at your gurdwara this Sunday.
