ਬਾਦਲ ਬੈਠਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਮੁਖੀ ਆਹ ਧੁੰਮਾ ਆ, ਬੱਸ ਪੂਛ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗੀ.......ਇਹਦੇ

ਚੜਾਈ ਕੀਤੇ, ਓਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਝਾਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰਖਣ ਲਗਾਂ, ਕਿਓਂ ਕਿ
ਸਾਡੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਬਹੁਤ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਗਲ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ
ਚੜਾਈ ਕੀਤੇ ਤਾਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਦਲ ਸਾਹਬ ਦੇ ਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੇ
ਬਾਬਾ ਰਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਥਾਪ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੇ ਵਿਚ
ਬਾਦਲ ਸਾਹਬ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਤਖਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਹਾਜਰ
ਹੋ ਕੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਜੈਕਾਰੇ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ, ਬਾਬਾ ਰਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਦਾ
ਮੁਖੀ ਥਾਪਿਆ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ
ਦੀਆਂ ਨਜਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਆਹ ਦੁਮਛੱਲਾ ਧੁੰਮਾਂ ਅਸਲੀ ਪੰਥਕ ਨਜਰ ਆਇਆ, ਸੋ ਓਨ੍ਹਾਂ
ਨੇ ਬਗਾਵਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਧੁੰਮੇ ਨੂੰ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਥਾਪ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਲਓ ਜੀ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਭਾਣਾ ਕੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਵੀ, ਹੁਣ
ਬਾਦਲ ਸਾਹਬ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਦਤ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਭਾਈ ਰਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਲੇ
ਚੱਟਣ ਲਈ ਸਦਾ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਪਰ ਬਾਬਾ ਰਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਬਾਦਲ ਦੀ
ਕੋਈ ਚਮਚਾਗਿਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਪਰ
ਜੀ ਆਹ ਧੁੰਮੇ ਨੇ ਅੰਦਰਖਾਤੇ ਬਾਦਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਲੇ ਚਟਨੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ
ਅਨਹੋਣੀ ਕੀ ਹੋਈ ਕਿ ਉਸੇ ਸ਼੍ਰਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ, ਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਅਤੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨਾਂ
ਨੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਰਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੇ ਮੀਡੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਪਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ
ਸਾਹਮਣੇ, ਟਕਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਥਾਪਿਆ ਸੀ, ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਸਪਸ਼ਟੀਕਰਨ ਜਾਂ ਅਕਾਲ
ਤਖ਼ਤ ਤੋਂ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਸਿਧਾ ਹੀ, ਇਸ ਧੁੰਮੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਦੇਣੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ
ਦਿਤੀ।
ਹੁਣ ਸਾਡੀ ਵਿਚਾਰੀ ਕੌਮ ਇਨੀ ਭੁਲਣਹਾਰ
ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇ ਯਾਦ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਿਹਾ ਵੀ ਭਾਈ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ
ਸਿਆਸਤਦਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਬਾਬਾ ਰਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਥਾਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ
ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਹੈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁਛਣ ਵਾਲਾ। ਜੇਕਰ
ਕੋਈ ਪੁਛਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਜਵਾਬ ਨਹੀਂ, ਪਰ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੇ ਕਿਥੇ ਹੈ, ਸਾਡੇ ਤਖਤਾਂ
ਦੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੱਚ ਦਾ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ, ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਹੀ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ
ਕੀ ਜਥੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਫਰਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਬਣਦਾ, ਕਿ ਭਾਈ ਬਾਬਾ
ਰਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਪੰਥ ਨਾਲ ਆਹ ਦਗਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਅੱਜ ਤੋਂ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਦਾ
ਮੁਖੀ ਧੁੰਮੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਬਾਬਾ ਰਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਿਚਾਰਾ ਖੂੰਜੇ ਲਗ ਕੇ
ਚੁਪ ਕਰਕੇ ਬੈਠ ਗਿਆ, ਪਰ ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਝ ਯਾਦ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਵਈ ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਓਹੀ
ਧੁੰਮਾਂ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਦਲ, ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ, ਅਤੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਹੋਰੀਂ ਖਤਰਨਾਕ
ਦਸਦੇ ਸੀ, ਫਿਰ ਹੁਣ ਓਹੀ ਧੁੰਮਾਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਭੌਰਾ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਬਣ
ਗਿਆ? ਸੋਚਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ। ਆਵੋ ਪਾਠਕੋ, ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ
ਵਿਚਾਰ ਜਰੂਰ ਦੇਵੋ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਸਚ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਸਕੇ, ਕਿ ਇਹ ਧੁੰਮਾਂ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਦੇ
ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਕਿਆ।

The last ditch efforts of Damdami Taksal to ensure presence of
SGPC, Sikh Clergy to attend the “Dashera” (antim ardas) of
Baba Thakur Singh at Gurdwara Gurdarshan Parkash, Chowk Mehta,
failed today when Bibi Jagir Kaur, President Shiromani
Committee told Bhai Mohkam Singh, Chief Spokesman for the
Taksal who visited Begowal to seek her support, that the
decision to give recognition to breakaway group, headed by
Baba Ram Singh could not be altered at this juncture.
Bibi Jagir Kaur
told Bhai Mohkam Singh that the ‘Gurmata’ had been passed in
the presence of Sikh clergy by seeking consent of various Sikh
organisations. Talking to TNS, here today, Bibi Jagir Kaur
said that she had told the Taksal spokesman that the SGPC
would definitely bring rapprochement between both the groups
after the ‘Antim Ardas’. The SGPC chief urged that Baba Ram
Singh, head of the breakaway group and Baba Harnam Singh
Dhumma, acting Jathedar of the Taksal, should sink their
differences.
In a significant
development, the SGPC has also got the support from Mr Parkash
Singh Badal, president, Shiromani Akali Dal, to recognise Baba
Ram Singh as the 15th Jathedar of Damdami Taksal. Bibi Jagir
Kaur said that Mr Badal had stated that he would endorse any
decision taken by the Sikh clergy and the SGPC.
Bibi Jagir Kaur
said that the recognition to Baba Ram Singh was being given on
the basis of the fax received by Akal Takht on June 17 last
year bearing signature of Baba Thakur Singh. As per the fax,
Baba Thakur Singh had been appointed Jathedar of the Taksal.
She said any recognition given to acting Jathedar Baba Harnam
Singh Dhunna would amount to violation of the decision of the
SGPC and Akal Takht which had declared Sant Jarnail Singh
Bhinderanwale as ‘martyr’ in presence of his (Sant
Bhinderanwale’s family). Baba Dhumma must declare that Sant
Bhinderanwale had passed on.
Meanwhile,
representatives of various Sikh organisations met Giani
Joginder Singh Vedanti, Jathedar Akal Takht, to bring
rapprochement between the warring groups.
The parallel
‘dashera’ (Antim Ardas) of Baba Thakur Singh at Gurdwara
Gurdarshan Parkash and Gurdwara Gurshabad Parkash, Sangrai (Batala),
would be virtually a show of strength between both the
factions of Taksal. While the SAD (Badal) would attend the
‘Antim Ardas’ at Sangrai (Batala), the rival Akali factions,
including Panthic Morcha and SAD (Amritsar) are likely to give
recognition to Baba Harnam Singh, Acting Jathedar of Damdami
Taksal, Mehta Chowk.
The split in the
Damdami Taksal has come up after a gap of 35 years. After the
death of Baba Gurbachan Singh Bhinderanwale, the SGPC had
given recognition to Sant Mohan Singh Bhinderan while Sant
Kartar Singh became a mainstream Taksal head though he had
shifted his headquarters to Chowk Mehta after the death of
Sant Gurbachan Singh Khalsa.
