It
is with great pleasure to inform you of great success, a member
of the Sikh Community Devon & Cornwall. As you are aware Chaz
Singh has been an active member of the community and a flag
bearer for the Sikh community.
For those not familiar with Chaz Singh he was recently elected
the 1st Sikh Councillor in the history of Plymouth. A great
success for the Black Asian and Minority Ethnic communities in
Plymouth and the South West to promote understanding and
integration in the wider community.
I write to you today to inform you
that Chaz Singh is now featured in a new book 2nd Edition of
Sikhs in Britain, 150 years in Photographs. His photograph is on
a double page at the contents page mentioning his recent success
and Plymouth Hoe in the background.
The book will be available
globally and across all Waterstones bookstores. The author of
the book has also won an award in India which he will be
collecting later this month (December 2011)
I am sure you will join me in
congratulating him in everything he does. This is a huge success
to show what members of the Sikh Community Devon & Cornwall
strive for.
