Selling scrap all his life Mr Makkar is thinking that people like Prof Dhunda and most of sikhs abroad are also a piece of scrap

What Should We Do?

Prof Dhunda is dragged in a cleverly created controversy by some people and our Jathedars have issued him the order to not oblige him without any explanation from him.  And still claiming that he is just asked to clarify his position on some words he said in one of his Katha. It reminds us of the law made by British Raj Govt, "NO APPEAL, NO VAKEEL (LAWYER) AND NO DALEEL (REASONING). Either Jathedar should have waited for Prof Dhunda's clarification and then give any kind of punishment, if not satisfied or they have no right to call Prof Dhunda at Akal Takhat Sahib as they already have served him punishment by telling sikhs to ban him and his work.

And then came the statement from Mr Avtar Singh Makkar on a Canadian radio where he urged people to drag Prof Dhunda from the stage because of his anti panthic activities. He also claimed that S.G.P.C's own preachers are far better than missionary people like Dhunda and are doing excellent work in Punjab and overseas. He mentioned that people like Dhunda comes abroad only for the dollars and pounds.

By listening to Prof Dhunda's Katha and Mr Makkar's & Giani Gurbachan Singh's interviews on radio, I am bit confused.

Whom should I believe? What should I and people like me do?

  1. Do I trust Mr Makkar (who says SGPC preachers are doing good job) or not as i have never seen a SGPC preacher in my native village for 27 yrs or should i trust missionary preachers who are trying to go village to village, door to door to teach sikh kids about Sikhism without any backing from SGPC or without having big funds like SGPC.

  2. Should I trust Mr Makkar who at one time says he has not seen the CD yet, so can't say anything and in same interview after 5 mins says Dhunda said something bad about Kirtan at Sri Harmandir Sahib?? Is it called self contradictory?

  3. Should we trust Prof Dhunda whose inspiring Katha and explanation of Bani has attracted us back to real Sikhism or Mr Makkar and Jathedars based SANTS who takes us in imaginary and fake world by telling us stories which are not backed by any historical facts?

  4. Should I trust Jathedar who says pressure from sikh sangat abroad can't affect his decision as only rules are followed at Akal Takhat Sahib but he pardons a RAAGI (who potrayed Ram Rahim as Guru Nanak) because Sikh Sangat wanted so?  Am i missing something in this self contradictory statement?

  5. Should we trust a SGPC president who calls a person DOG and also mention his religion (kutta brahmin.. youtube) or our missionary brothers who are speaking truth without taking any personal dig at anyone?

  6. Should I trust some SANTS whom I have seen myself taking money from people or Prof Dhunda who respectfully says NO? or SGPC president whose own petrol expenses are in CRORES itself or SANT DHANDRIAWALA who says what if my car got wrecked, our sangat will get even bigger car or who tells a shopkeeper in a diwan that he will pay his due as soon as he come back from a tour abroad?

  7. Should we trust Prof Dhunda who has no political affiliation or SGPC president who is on mercy of Badals?

  8. Should we trust the so called Sants who make people fly in the air, according to whom Baba Deep Singh Ji is still sitting in the mountains somewhere (Thakur Singh Taksal), who says even Sikhs can get cursed from gurudwaras or we should trust preacher like Prof Dhunda whose lectures, speeches an katha make more sense to us, which tells about the true teachings and mission of Guru Nanak DeV ji & other gurus. By learning the truth about real Sikhism, we can tell people belonging to other religions that how scientific is our religion and are our gurus. How our Gurus were different from other traditional religions and how. Everything science is proving today was told by our gurus 500 yrs ago. But if they listen to our Sants, we have no way to show that how our religion is different.

  9. I sometime compare Sikhism with America as both started their path around 500 yrs ago. Both were open for all kind of people irrespective to caste, religion, color.  Same way Sikhism have freedom of speech, respect of women and others, based on logic and for betterment of humanity, America has 10 amendments. But as time passed both were captured by inside people and presented themselves as biggest protector of both. And then these people in the name of these liberties and mission started to eliminate them one by one and if any one opposes started to suppress them with power and money.

I guess by selling scrap all his life Mr Makkar is thinking that people like Prof Dhunda and most of sikhs abroad are also a piece of scrap.

Or is it other way around?

Decision is in our hand..
