ਸਿੱਖ ਯੂਥ ਵੈਨਕੂਵਰ ਇੱਕ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਦੀਵਾਨ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਵੈਨਕੂਵਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਦੋ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜੱਦੋ ਜਹਿਦ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।ਜਿਹੜੀ ਹੇਠ ਲਿਖੇ ਮਤਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਚਨਵੱਧ ਹੈ:

ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ
ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਪੰਥ ਪਰਵਾਨਿਤ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਹਿਤ ਮਰਿਆਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਨਿਭਾਏ ਜਾਇਆ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

ਧਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ
ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਸਰਬ ਸਾਂਝਾ, ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਰੂਪੀ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਸੌਖੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਗਲਿਸ਼) ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਸਹਿਤ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਉਚ ਕੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਗੀ, ਢਾਡੀ, ਕਥਾ ਵਾਚਕ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਕ ਸੱਦੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਕੀਰਤਨ
ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਕੈਂਪ, ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਗੋਸ਼ਟੀਆਂ, ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਲਾਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਸੰਥਿਆ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਲਾਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਪੰਥਕ ਏਕਤਾ
ਇਥੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਦੱਸਣਾਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਿਰਫ ਸਿੱਖ ਹੈ, ਮੂਲਵਾਦੀ ਜਾਂ ਨਵੀਨਵਾਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ।ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਬੇਲੋੜੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਨ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਖਤਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਗੁਰੂ ਕਾ ਲੰਗਰ
ਲੰਗਰ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਪ੍ਰੰਪਰਾ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਸੋਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ।ਅਸੀਂ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਖਤੀ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਲੰਗਰ ਹਾਲ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਮੇਜ਼ ਕੁਰਸੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਟਾਂਵਾਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਸੰਗਤ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ
ਨਵੀਨ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਮ ਵਰਕ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਲਿਖਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮੁਫਤ ਟਿਊਸ਼ਨ (ਮੈਥ, ਸਾਇੰਸ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ) ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਬਾਰਵੀਂ ਪਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਰੁਚੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਕੋਰਸ ਲੱਭਣ ਲਈ ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਗਠਿਤ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ।ਲਾਇਕ ਅਤੇ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਵਜ਼ੀਫਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ।ਉੱਚ ਕੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਾਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਭਰ ਰਹੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਮਸਲੇ
ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਮਸਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਲਝਾਉਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਮੀਡੀਏਟਰ (ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਵਿਚੋਲੇ) ਦੀ ਮੱਦਦ ਲਈ ਜਾਇਆ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਵਕੀਲਾਂ, ਅਦਾਲਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕੱਦਮਿਆਂ ਉਪਰ ਖਰਾਬ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਧ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਮੈਂਬਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਫੀਸ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਰਮ
ਅਸੀਂ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੈਂਬਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਫੀਸ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੁਫਤ ਮੈਂਬਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਬਹਾਲ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ।ਮੈਂਬਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਫਾਰਮ ਆਨ ਲਾਈਨ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ
ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਪਿਛਲੀਆਂ ਕਮੇਟੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਖਸਤਾ ਹਾਲਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਰੈਨੋਵੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ।

ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਖਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ
ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੈਠਣ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਦਰਬਾਰ ਹਾਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੰਗਰ ਹਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਲਿਫਟ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਚੌਵੀ ਘੰਟੇ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ/ਹੈਲਪ ਲਾਈਨ
ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੁਖੀ ਮਾਈ ਭਾਈ ਦੀ ਮੱਦਦ ਵਾਸਤੇ 24 ਘੰਟੇ ਹੈਲਪ ਲਾਈਨ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਆਮਦਨ ਅਤੇ ਖਰਚ ਦਾ ਹਿਸਾਬ
ਹਰ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਆਮਦਨ ਅਤੇ ਖਰਚ ਦੇ ਵੇਰਵੇ ਬੋਰਡ ਉਪਰ ਲਗਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਭੇਟਾ ਦੀ ਰਸੀਦ ਦਾ ਨੰਬਰ ਦੱਸ ਕੇ ਖਜ਼ਾਨਚੀ ਕੋਂਲੋਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ। ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਤੀਜ਼ੇ ਆਉਣ ਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਹਾਰ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਨਵੀਂ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਚਾਰਜ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਹਰ ਤਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਖਰਚ ਨਵੀਂ ਚੁਣੀਂ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕਰੇਗੀ।ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਮੀਡੀਆ ਵਾਚ ਕਮੇਟੀ
ਸਿੱਖ ਜਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀ ਹਰੇਕ ਖਬਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਸਲਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਕਮਿਊਨਟੀ ਤੱਕ ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਗਠਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
“ਸਾਡੀ ਸਲੇਟ ਦੇ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਦੀ ਸੂਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਪਰ ਲਿਖੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ 16 ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਨਿਭਾਏ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਅਸਤੀਫਾ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ”

ਖੇਡਾਂ
ਕਬੱਡੀ, ਸੌਕਰ, ਫੀਲਡ ਹਾਕੀ, ਐਥਲੈਟਿਕਸ ਅਤੇ ਘੋਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਡਾਵਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਸਬ ਕਮੇਟੀਆਂ ਗਠਿਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਖੇਂਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਰਿਚਮੰਡ ਵਾਲੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਵਰਤਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਸਿੱਖ ਖੋਜ਼ ਕੇਂਦਰ
ਉਤਰੀ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਖੋਜ਼ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਥੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਆਰਕਾਇਵਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਰੈਫਰੈਂਸ ਲਾਇਬਰੇਰੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਨੌਜ਼ਵਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਰੀਕਰੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਕੇਂਦਰ
ਨੌਜ਼ਵਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਰੀਕਰੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਾਡੇ ਨੌਂਜ਼ਵਾਨ ਕਲੱਬਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਪੱਬਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਗੁਰੂ ਘਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਸਕਣ।

ਸੋ, ਭੈਣੋ ਤੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ, ਆਓ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਲਿਖੇ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਹੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ “ਸਿੱਖ ਯੂਥ ਵੈਨਕੂਵਰ” ਵਲੋਂ ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਸਲੇਟ ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਕਰੀਏ।

Sikh Youth Vancouver is an independent organization which is handling legal matters at Khalsa Diwan Society Vancouver and working for your rights for the past 2 years.

Religious Programs
Religious programs will be conducted in accordance with the Sikh Code Of Conduct –“The Sikh Rehat Maryada”

Religious Propagation
For educational purposes literature regarding Gurbani and the Sikh History will be produced in both Punjabi and English languages for distribution. Well qualified and learned Ragis, Dhadis and Katha Wachiks will be invited to preach the message of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Gurbani Kirtan
Proper arrangements will be made to teach Gurbani Kirtan to kids and whoelse wants to learn it.

Moderate and/or Fundamental
A baseless myth and confusion of moderate and/or fundamental Sikhs has been created for political gains. In the sikh religion there is no such definitions; a Sikh is only a “Sikh”. All efforts will be made to remove this baseless myth.

Guru Ka Langar
We promise with Sangat in written that the present “Langar Tradition” will be maintained. Proper arrangements will be made for the people who would prefer to partake by sitting on floor. In this regard, we promise, the constitution of the society shall not be amended.

Help for kids in Punjabi & School Studies
Arrangements will be made to introduce new curriculum to promote the Punjabi Language by including the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.We promise to provide free tutoring in Math, Science and Computers so that our kids get smarter in academics too. Sikh scholarships will be established for qualified and needy post secondary students. Outstanding sports athletes will be recognized with award in the presence of Sikh Sangat.

Election and Legal Issues
All the elections procedures and legal matters will be dealt by an independent professional mediator resulting in financial savings and elimination of negative exposure in the community at large towards Society and Sikh Sangat. With the consultation of the membership a proper method will be invented and implemented to incorporate it into the by-laws of the Society.

Membership Fee and Forms
After the election we’ll, with the consultation with the members, take immediate steps to eliminate the membership fee to become a member of the Society. Also membership forms will be available online.

Buildings and Premises
The previous and present committees had not cared about the Gurdwara’s Buildings and responsible for the present bad state of buildings. We promise to quality renovating all the buildings with in a year of the elections.

Special Arrangements for Seniors
The seniors are the back bone of our family life. We will make special arrangements to facilitate them in the Gurudwara, such as, lift arrangements to go down to Langar hall from Darbar hall.

Crisis Centre & 24 Hr. Hot Line
To help the people who are victim of domestic violence or any other crisis, we’ll provide professional counseling. A 24 hour hotline will be established for this purpose.

Financial Statements and Enquiries
Financial statements will be posted on board monthly basis. Any question regarding financial statements or donated monies would be verified by the treasure.

Media Watch Committee
A media watch committee shall be established for the accurate reporting of any issues concerning the Society and Sikh Sangat.
“We promise to full fill all the above promises within the 16 month of elections. If we would be unable to do so, all of our committee members will resign.

Sports
Sports committees consisting of experts in the field of Kabaddi, Soccer, Field Hockey, Athletics and Wrestling will be established. By proper lobbying every effort will be made to rezone the Richmond Lands to build sports facilities or grounds for the use of youth.

Sikh Research Centre
A Sikh Research Centre (first of its kind in North America) will be created along with Sikh National Archives and a Sikh Reference Library.

Recreation Centre for the Youth
A recreation centre will be created for the youth, so that youth can hang over there and avoid pubs or clubs.

So, let’s get together to make the Khalsa Diwan Society Vancouver a true centre of propagation of Sikh Religion and its centuries old traditions. To bring all the above changes, please support and vote for Bhai Kuldip Singh and his entire slate members endorsed by the Sikh Youth Vancouver.
